In una nazione in crisiideali, anche il ricordo di un eroe puo' aiutare a crescere. Ettore Muti, ravennate, classe 1902, prima di essere fermato da un colpo vigliacco alla nuca nell'estate '43, è stato il vero ultimo eroe della storia militare e rivoluzionaria Italiana, alla faccia di chi la storia non la vuole insegnare, propinandoci solo miti esotici alla Cheguevara.
Ettore Muti è stato un giovane che si era ribellato, come altri suoi coetanei, alla standardizzazione del sistema e che, come pochi anni fa cantava Lucio Battisti, si è sentito libero di rifiutare le "ideologie alla moda" che nell'inizio secolo erano dettate dai grandi stati conservatori centrali: per Muti ed i suoi mates only had the man and not the coat of arms that represented him.
