I write this post a short speech that the U.S. President, Barack Obama, held here on campus at Penn State and I do it to highlight some important steps.
The purpose of the visit was to highlight how research in clean technologies ( clean tech ) sia una delle priorità individuate dall'amministrazione Obama. Penn State è uno dei centri di ricerca più all'avanguardia per la costruzione ed il riadattamento di edifici in chiave ecosostenibile e, sotto l'egida della Better Building Iniatitive promulgata dal Congresso, un centro di ricerca dedicato alle clean tech verrà creato in Pennsylvania, vicino a Philadelphia. Pertanto la scelta del Presidente di tenere un discorso qui a Penn State è stata particolarmente felice.
Quel che mi ha sorpreso e, perchè no, anche un po' inorgoglito è stato sentire il Presidente degli Stati Uniti parlare di innovazione e di imprenditorialità specifying a specific and, in extreme synthesis and effective, what is the path that links these two concepts:
Ideas -> Search -> Protection of intellectual property -> Funds for enterprises and deregulation -> Enterprises creation
Simple, clear and effective. Sign that the institutional system is aware of how things work and what the mechanisms regulating them.
You could do the same thing in Italy?
